On June 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., a vibrant ceremony marking the Safety Production Month theme—“Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies: Identifying Safety Hazards Around Us”—kicked off enthusiastically on the south side of the Cold Rolling Workshop. Company leaders, members from the Logistics Department, and non-shift personnel from various production workshops gathered together to participate in this crucial event, which aimed to strengthen safety awareness and ensure accountability for safety responsibilities. Organized jointly by the Safety & Environmental Protection Department and the General Administration Department, the event was masterfully opened by host Cheng Ketin, whose passionate introduction set the tone for the day’s activities.
Vice President of Safety, Cheng Ketin, delivered a speech in which he thoroughly highlighted the critical importance of safe production for both corporate growth and employees' well-being. He analyzed the current challenges facing workplace safety and urged all employees to approach their roles with a strong sense of responsibility and mission.
Employee representatives Du Dejun and Li Bo took the stage one after the other to deliver speeches. Drawing from their own work experiences, they shared deep insights and practical lessons on ensuring safe production, while also expressing their commitment to strictly adhering to safety regulations and actively participating in hazard identification efforts—resonating strongly with everyone present.
In a solemn atmosphere, production units and departments systematically signed the Safety Target Responsibility Agreements. Each agreement carries with it a profound sense of responsibility, clearly outlining the goals and tasks for every unit and department in ensuring safe production—and laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the company’s safety initiatives.
In his speech, the company’s General Manager pointed out the current issues in the company’s safety efforts with remarkable clarity, and provided a comprehensive and meticulous plan for future safety initiatives. He emphasized that safe production is the lifeline of the company’s development, urging all employees to enhance their awareness, strengthen implementation, and ensure that every aspect of safety work is carried out flawlessly.
“For the growth of our company and for the happiness and harmony of our families, I will always keep safety at the forefront of my mind. I’ll strictly follow operational procedures and workplace rules, firmly committing to the ‘Four No-Harms’: I will not harm myself, I will not harm others, I will not be harmed by others, and I will ensure that no one else is put at risk. Together, we stand—right hand raised—and recite this solemn pledge in unison. Each word rings out with powerful determination, underscoring our collective commitment to safe and responsible work practices.”
After the oath was taken, everyone stepped forward one by one to the signing table and carefully penned their names. Each stroke wasn’t just the writing of a personal name—it was a solemn commitment to the responsibility of ensuring safe production.
The event also featured a fun, quiz session with prizes, where questions revolved around safety production knowledge. Employees enthusiastically participated, deepening their understanding and mastery of these essential topics in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
This month-long campaign for safe production, featuring a solemn pledge and signature event, has further strengthened all employees' safety awareness and emergency preparedness, fostering a robust culture of "Everyone prioritizes safety, and everyone knows how to respond effectively." Taking this initiative as a stepping stone, the company will continue to deepen its efforts in safety management, solidifying our safety defenses to ensure both the company’s high-quality growth and the well-being and happiness of our employees.
